AMSAR
| Micro-g NASA Oct 2019 – June 2021
Autonomous Maritime Search and
Rescue
Team acceptance to NASA's 2020 and 2021 Micro-g NExT Design
Competition
-
Proposed a solution to the SAVER Challenge, accepted to test at
NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory at the Johnson Space Center in
June 2021.
-
Built an autonomous boat capable of assisting astronauts in
distress within a maritime environment, through location and
delivery of crew survival aids.
-
Achieved autonomous driving capabilities by using Ultrasonic
sensors for collision avoidance, open source library: TensorFlow
for object detection and software defined radios (SDR) for
direction finding.
-
Utilized: Python, C++, Shell, Multi-Threading, OpenCV,
Linux, TensorFlow, Raspberry pi.
Stethline
| CSE 453 Feb 2021 – May 2021
-
Designed a remote stethoscope aims to provide patients and doctors
an easy way to monitor health condition while having a conference
with telemedicine. The website provides info and serves as an
audio connection gateway to use Stethline.
-
This project was an idea originated by Dr Robert Gatewood in
conjunction with Dr. Kris Schindler as a semester-long CSE 453
project.
-
Utilized: Python, PHP, CSS, HTML, Cheshire, Javascript and
Bootstrap.
CollegeHub
Sep 2020 – Dec 2020
CSE Demo Day Fall 2020 2nd Place:
-
Designed A portfolio website for college students with different
templates and themes to display their professional experiences.
-
Implemented custom CSS with minimal Bootstrap frontend.
-
Attended remote meetings on a consistent basis, held a weekly
meeting with a project manager, and held biweekly code demos with
a third party.
-
Used Django framework as a backend and handling live updates
client side with AJAX and jQuery.
-
Utilized: Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Heroku, Django,
Bootstrap, GitHub, ZenHub, and PostgreSQL.
SnowBot
| Intramural Project
Jan 2020 – Dec 2020
-
Worked with 12 computer, software, and electrical engineers to
create an autonomous robotic system using a Raspberry Pi
microprocessor to remove snow in residential areas sponsored by UB
Sustainable Manufacturing and Advanced Robotic Technologies
(SMART) COE.
-
Defined system requirements (functional, environmental, user), and
worked with radars for preliminary testing on a raspberry pi
(Python, OpenCV, Matplotlib).
-
Presented work to 3 interested stakeholders, drafted a 30-page
technical document detailing current progress, deliverables, and
future testing plans, acquired $2000 for funding.
-
Utilized: Python, Raspberry pi, Radars, Open CV,
TensorFlow, Zenhub and Github.
AIAA Website
| Club - Jun 2020
-
Designed a website for the club to display achievements and
projects with a dashboard that uses google sheets as the
database.
-
Utilized: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Google Sheets, Git
Facegram
| CSE 312 - May 2020
-
Designed a social media website for a full-stack web application
course project with a chat app. Utilized HTML,CSS, Docker and
Django.
-
Utilized: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Docker, Django,
Python, Misaka, Git.
VisionAssist
| UBHacking 2019 - Nov 2019
UBHacking 2019 1st Place:
-
Designed a User Interface to help people struggling with blindness
navigate through their environment.
-
This project utilizes tools like Raspberry pi and ultrasonic
sensor with software implementation of TensorFlow and Computer
Vision to process camera footage in real-time identifying objects
in a user's path. This UI provides haptic feedback through a
buzzer to notify if the object is in their path, and which path to
take next to avoid a collision.
-
Utilized: OpenCV, Python, TensorFlow, Raspberry pi.
Tamaghan.com
- Dec 2019
-
Designed a personal website to display continually updated
information about my skills and experiences. The project was
developed with the knowledge of CSS/HTML.
-
Utilized: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, Skrollr and
Bootstrap
